Three New Things…

Good morning!

Josh and I made a run to our fav coffee shop, Bambinos, again this morning.
Our friend David highly recommends this flavor combination, which I hadn’t tried before: a latte with mocha and hazelnut. (Why haven’t I thought of that??) According to him it tastes just like melted Nutella…. and Lord knows, anything with the word “Nutella” next to it has to be good.

My verdict: I do like this flavor combination. Bambinos tends to have a light touch with their flavorings, though, so I think a trip to Starbucks for further research is in order. Oh, and please disregard how “well used” my coffee sleeve is. I bought two of these from a fellow Etsyian, Fuzzy Paws Knits, and she made them in the colors I chose and they are great! She also assures me that they are easily machine washable… I just use mine so much, they haven’t made it to the washer yet : )

Yesterday I finished another wip – one of my sweet bunny checkbook covers.
I’ll get this one in my shop once I’ve finished blogging.

And here is some Japanese fabric that I fussy cut on Monday… at some point in the future I hope these will be the center squares of a series of little quilts.

(P.S. As you’ve probably figured out already, Josh was able to gather his strength, push the cats off of him, struggle out of bed and go to work today! The cats and I successfully nursed him back to health and he’s feeling much better! Thanks to everyone for your well wishes!)
